Artistic Finishes specializes in the age old art of home decoration.

Owner Holly Whiting has worked in the fine and applied arts for over 20 years. With experience spanning the fields of art, architecture, graphics and decorative painting, Holly brings a unique sensibility to every project.

She has helped to beautify the home of Judy Sheindlin (TV’s Judge Judy), in Greenwich, Conn.  She created custom finishes for the historic home of Maureen Walsh, owner of the Pyrianos Collection of fine restored Steinway pianos.  

Her work can also be seen in the new Park Central Tavern in Hamden, at the Beecher Museum School in New Haven, as well as in theatre sets such as this summer’s production of Ragtime, at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.  Working from her studio in New Haven, Conn., Holly’s focus is on developing unique solutions for each project, whether residential, commercial or public.
